G2-1 to G2-12 Wastewater Plant Operator I-$35,022.42-$48,479.21 Annually. High School Diploma. Class D Wastewater Operator Certificate Class B CDL
G3-1 to G3-12 Wastewater Plant Operator II-$38,524.66-$53,327.14 Annually. High School Diploma, Class B Wastewater License and Class B CDL.
G4-1 to G4-12 Senior Wastewater Plant Operator-$42,377.12-$58,659.85 Annually. High School Diploma, Class A Wastewater Operator Certificate and Class B CDL.
FLSA: Full-Time Non-Exempt
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This is manual work in the performance of semi-skilled and skilled tasks of a physically demanding nature in support of the City utility operations, maintenance and repair functions. An employee in this class does semi-skilled and skilled manual labor to provide assistance in the maintenance and repair of the City wastewater and sanitary sewer distribution and wastewater collection systems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS: Graduation from an accredited High School or successful completion of a GED examination and one year experience in the operation of light construction equipment; or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
