LABORER- PART TIME CITY OF ROLLA PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:  This position is responsible for mowing of the Airport grounds and fueling of various aircraft.  The position also includes other duties, included but not limited to:  light maintenance of the buildings, and cleaning of the lobby/waiting areas/bathrooms.  Applicant must have knowledge of credit card machines, tractors, bush hogs, and standard fuel trucks. Hours for the position will vary but will generally be Monday – Friday from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m.  Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds.  Applicant will be climbing ladders and balancing while fueling planes. Some weekend work will be required. 
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS: Graduation from an accredited High School or successful completion of a GED examination and one year experience in the operation of light construction equipment; or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
 
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:  Successful candidates will be required to obtain a NATA fueling license.
