Town & Country Bank’s Kyle Hofstetter Named a National “40 Under 40” Community Bank Leader

Salem, Mo. (June 12, 2026) — Town & Country Bank is proud to announce that Chief Credit Officer Kyle Hofstetter has been named to the 2026 “40 Under 40: Community Bank Leaders” list by the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA).

The national list, featured in the June/July issue of Independent Banker magazine, celebrates exceptional local leaders who are shaping the future of community banking. Honorees are chosen based on their leadership, innovation, and dedication to their hometowns.

"We are incredibly proud to see Kyle receive this national honor," said Sheldon Shaver, Town & Country Bank CEO. "Kyle represents the very best of Town & Country Bank. His financial expertise and leadership keep the bank well-positioned, stable, and ready to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”

As Chief Credit Officer, Hofstetter oversees credit operations across Town & Country Bank's 11 Missouri locations. He focuses on building deep local roots and finding creative solutions for the region, such as the bank's recent partnership to deliver four brand-new school buses to the Crawford County R-1 School District.
"We commend this year's honorees, who lead with integrity and a spirit of service," said ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey. "These forward-thinking bankers have found meaningful ways to strengthen their institutions and make a true difference in the communities they call home."

For Hofstetter, community banking is personal. "We’re deeply invested in the communities we serve because our kids go to the local schools and our friends work there," Hofstetter said. "Being recognized by ICBA is a tremendous honor, but the real reward is working alongside a team that helps our neighbors reach their financial goals every day."
