Don Moore is an exceptional volunteer and it’s no surprise that he also leads an exceptional life. He’s been in the St. James area since 1971. Both of his daughters went to school and graduated here. He spent many hours coaching their basketball & volleyball teams. In 1974 Don was one of four founders that started the Mid-Missouri Beekeepers Association. Ozark Pickers & Players Jamboree
The first Friday of every month the St. James Senior Centers hosts the Ozark Pickers & Players Jamboree from 6:30 - 9pm. There’s a $3 suggested donation at the front door for those not picking or playing. Coffee, lemonade, tea, and water are provided. Folks are encouraged to bring finger foods to share. The tables at Alice’s Restaurant get pushed back for those that would like to dance a little jig. The date of the next Jamboree is Friday, May 6th. Doors open at 6pm.
