Job seekers and career changers in south-central Missouri are invited to attend the Rolla Regional Hiring Event on Thursday, June 5, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the National Guard Armory, 201 Fairgrounds Road in Rolla. This free event brings together employers from a wide range of industries offering immediate job opportunities and on-the-spot interviews.

“We’re excited to once again bring this hiring event to the Rolla community,” said Sundi Jo Graham, Communications Coordinator for the Central Workforce Development Region. “Events like this open doors for job seekers and help connect local talent with real opportunities in our region.”
Job seekers are encouraged to pre-register at cwdregion.com/rhe to streamline entry and receive updates before the event. However, walk-ins are welcome. Attendees should bring multiple copies of their résumé, dress professionally, and be prepared to engage directly with hiring representatives.
Employers will be present from both the public and private sectors, offering full-time, part-time, and entry-level positions. A complete list of participating employers is available online at cwdregion.com/rhe.
Other services are available at the Rolla Job Center for both employers and job seekers. Employer services include talent search assistance through the MoJobs database, the ability to reach out to UI recipients, retention assistance, labor market information, ACT WorkKeys and NCRC testing,  hiring incentives, and veterans services. Job seeker services include job search assistance, free resource computers, career and training services, workshops, skill assessments, work-based learning, and more.

The work done to assist mid-Missouri communities is a collective effort of the Central Ozarks Private Industry Council (COPIC), the Office of Workforce Development, the Central Workforce Development Board, and numerous community partners. Services are provided through three comprehensive Job Centers, multiple satellite and affiliate locations, and an administrative office.
