Rolla Comprehensive Plan Community Input Meeting

The City of Rolla invites the community to provide input on the Comprehensive Plan. The city has engaged H3 Studio to prepare a new plan. Work on the plan began earlier this year. The consultant has engaged with business and community leaders, stakeholders, and the community through meetings and surveys.

The previous comprehensive plan was completed in 1996, with an update performed in 2005.  A comprehensive plan should serve as a guiding vision for the city over the next ten to twenty years. The plan is intended to be a solid foundation for current planning and to serve as the primary policy guide for transportation, sustainability, community infrastructure, and zoning, subdivision and development decision-making within Rolla.  The Comprehensive Plan will also serve as a necessary first step and guideline for land use planning and capital improvement planning.

The meeting will include a presentation about the planning efforts to date and solicit input on additional issues and concerns that should be addressed in the plan. Drafts of the plan document should be ready for public review in 2025.

The meeting will be held on 12/9/2024 at 5:30 PM at the Community Meeting Rooms at The Centre, 1200 Holloway Street.
