JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Position Title: Foreman Salary Grade: 5
Department: Environmental Services Dept. Salary Range: $46,614.84 - $64,525.83
Date: February 21, 2025 FLSA: Full Time, Non-Exempt

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position involves supervisory and participatory work in the Sanitation Division. This employee will provide guidance and leadership to the Equipment Operators and Laborers involved in the collection of refuse as well as the operation of the Sanitation Department.
MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited high school or successful completion of a GED examination. Applicants must possess a valid MO Class B CDL with air endorsement. Experience in the solid waste management field and previous supervisory experience a plus. Must possess good communication and writing skills. Must have basic computer knowledge. Experience in operating rear-loading refuse compaction truck, roll-off truck, forklift, small front-end loader and other material handling equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be in good physical condition and be able to withstand extreme weather conditions. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
