Executive Director

The Executive Director is a contract position to lead the Community Resource Center of Phelps County Inc. The Executive Director will build and oversee the daily operations of the organization and ensure its overall long-term success. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and implementing programs and activities for the Community Resource Center to meet its mission to identify, coordinate, and contribute to meeting the needs of individuals, families, and communities by serving as a regional resource hub to link family and individuals to community resources and talents.
 
About the Community Resource Center:
 
The Community Resource Center of Phelps County Inc. is a new public benefit corporation that aims to identify, coordinate, and contribute to meeting the needs of individuals, families, and communities by serving as a regional resource hub to link families and individuals to community resources and talents. The Community Resource Center will work directly with community partners to develop and maintain resource directories that may be used to help families and individuals locate available services. The organization has been initially funded through the Phelps County Opioid Settlement Fund and is designed to become sustainable through external grants and philanthropic contributions.
 
Description of Services:
 

  1. Perform general management duties to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the agency.
  2. Develop and implement agency programs and activities.
  3. Provide direct assistance and guidance to individuals and agencies utilizing the resource center.
  4. Develop and maintain contacts with business and community representatives to build awareness of community resources.
  5. Provide strategic leadership and hands-on management for all of the administrative and operational functions of the organization in accordance with the mission, objectives, and policies.
  6. Work closely and openly with the Board of Directors and its committee, ensuring ongoing communication of risks, issues, funding needs, successes, and working toward deliverables.
  7. Prudently direct resources and manage all financials within budget guidelines and according to applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and clients.
 
 
Salary: $59,000 - $64,000
