Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation’s Breast Center Mammography Fund and The Centre Raise $1,202.97 for Breast Center Mammography Fund
Rolla, MO. – The Breast Center Mammography Fund, one of the twelve funds of the Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation, in collaboration with The Centre, raised $1,202.97 during their annual event, Cardio for a Cure. The event, held in October, brought together members of the community to support breast cancer awareness and raise funds to benefit those in need.
Proceeds will benefit the Breast Center Mammography Fund of the Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation, a subsidiary of Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
“This fund is important to our community,” said Tiffany Henry, Fund Administrator for the Breast Center Mammography Fund. “Annual screening mammography continues to be the best way to detect breast cancer early, when it is most treatable. Without access to these funds, many women in our community would forgo having screening and diagnostic mammography services due to their financial situation.”
