About Us
Onondaga Cave State Park is located adjacent to the Meramec River and offers camping, hiking, day use picnicing, and tours of both Onondaga and Cathredal caves. Three hiking trails ranging in length from 1/2 mile to 3.75 miles are located at the park. Vilander Bluff Natural Area is located 5 miles down stream of the park and has a 1.5 mlle trail through the natural area. There is a shelter that will accommodate up to 100 people available by reservation or on a first come first served basis and a special use camping area for youth and civic groups. Several events are offered throughout the season and the naturalist provides evening programs in the campground every weekend in the summer.
