Beacon was formed in 2014 by Founder and Principal Strategist, Theresa Collins. After years of working in the nonprofit sector, Theresa noticed a significant need for contracted resource development and strategic planning services. Hence Beacon was born. We pulled some of the best minds in the industry together to produce excellent results for our nonprofit clients. We started out as a resource development, grant writing, and capital campaign management company, and we have evolved to focus all our talents on strategic planning services for foundations and nonprofits, since that is at the root of all resource development and growth.

Beacon is a woman-owned strategic planning company valuing authenticity, growth, audacity, resilience, and equity.
