Supervisor

Dependable, hard-working Supervisor needed at Phelps County Industrial Solutions (formerly Rolla Area Sheltered Workshop).

Job is multi-faceted and requires an excellent multi-tasker.

Supervisor will need to learn multiple jobs within our Sheltered Workshop, as well as learn duties that will include overseeing the cleanliness and lawn maintenance of our Truck Parking Facility with a crew of 1-2 employees with disabilities. Ability to work in hot and cold weather. In-house supervisory duties include overseeing production procedures with efficiency and quality, monitoring several employees with disabilities in various customer jobs. Overtime may be required. Weekend work happens on occasion, but at this time is not a requirement.

Must regularly meet Production demands as instructed by customer and Production Manager.

Must have attention to detail, quality work, and knowledge of safety procedures.

Must have or be willing to obtain a Class E license, or have the ability to obtain the required license. This license is used to drive set bus routes to transport employees with disabilities to work.

CPR/Standard First Aid is preferred, but Red Cross certified training can be provided by Company.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus, but not required.

90 day probationary period required with a potential for raise upon completion of the probationary period.

Must pass background check and alcohol/drug test.

Will consider part time, but preference given to applicants wanting full time work.
