Client Services Director
Are YOU My Next Client Services Director? (Rolla, MO)
We help our clients put plans in place to ease the burden and stress of caring for or losing a loved one when that day comes. We focus on avoiding court and conflict so our clients can create a legacy for those they love. Our law firm is growing rapidly, and we need a support staff superstar to help the attorney and clients so we can keep serving more families!
The job description below is very detailed because we want to make sure that you know what we expect, and that you don’t apply for a job that is not right for you. We don’t want to waste our time interviewing people who are not appropriate for the position, and we don’t want you to waste your time if you know that you aren’t the right fit.
We are a small law firm located in Rolla, Missouri, with a single attorney and part-time support staff. We plan to grow aggressively. We expect that there will be some bumps in the road. We will be implementing new policies and procedures, and revisions of our policies and procedures when they fail to achieve our goals as efficiently as we hoped or when we have outgrown them. You will need to be able to adapt to these changes and our growing pains. You will need to be able to suggest improvements for our systems to make our office run more efficiently. If you cannot adapt to change, you should not apply.
What is a Client Services Director? We develop ongoing relationships and friendships with our clients. Your duties as Client Services Director would be to accompany each of our clients throughout their relationship with our firm, from the very first time they contact our office, through intake, engagement, onboarding, post-engagement, and all the way until after their matter with our firm has been closed. You would be the one to initially introduce the clients to our firm and follow up to ensure that their questions are answered and that they are equipped with the information they need to engage our services. This intake process constitutes a major part of the role.
After we’ve begun working with the client, you would check in with them to ensure that their needs are being met, and would maintain our firm’s strong relationship with them even beyond the conclusion of the case. In addition, you would participate in various sales and marketing projects, to include assistance with speaking engagements, for example. In short, the Client Services Director is our firm’s ambassador to the world.
In this position you would also be wearing the hat of a Receptionist, and would have receptionist duties to include answering, screening, and directing all incoming calls, greeting clients and guests as they come in and making them comfortable, sorting the mail, and maintaining a clean reception area and clean conference rooms. As a team player, you would also be prepared to support all of the firm’s other positions as necessary.
When people call us for help, they are trusting us with their legacy and their plans to care for the most important people in their lives. Our Client Services Director will provide our clients and potential clients with the ultimate customer service experience. Additionally, our firm is growing fast, and our attorney needs someone who has their back and takes care of critical admin duties to keep the business moving!
Keep in mind that even though we’ve specifically asked only excellent people to apply, not-so-excellent people will inevitably still apply. So, we’ve devised a series of tests to weed those people out. If you are as serious about this position as we are, then you’ll follow it through to the end. If not, then let’s all be glad we figured that out now rather than later.
This important position involves administrative duties related to reception, customer service, client intake, client retention, and direct attorney support.
