Job Title: Store Supervisor, Helping Hands Thrift Store
QUALIFICATIONS:
- a minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in a retail environment, preferably with relevant duties and responsibilities, e.g. staff supervision, pricing, inventory display, financial reports, etc.
- post-secondary education or training
- evidence of strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
- knowledge and capabilities of current relevant technologies;
- reliability, dependability, flexibility, composed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the operations of the thrift store, as directed by the Complex Director including pricing, receiving/sorting, scheduling/supervising volunteers, maintaining store-related technology (POS, CC), store layout, etc.
- Work with the Board Treasurer to monitor revenue and expenses, and to establish an annual projection of profit margin for the support of the center
- Assist with social media for the store
- Must be able to lift and push/pull up to 25 pounds, as well as endure the various activities that may require prolonged sitting, standing, stooping, walking
- Must be proficient in the use of relevant retail technologies
- Weekends will be required.
