Part Time Sales Associate
Sales Associates are involved in every “ing” we do here. A wide variety of skills are required to succeed. As a locally-owned store, customer service is our top priority and great emphasis is put on teamwork to get tasks done.
In addition to UPS Shipping, we specialize in custom packing jobs. We also offer a variety of office and small business solutions such as printing, copying, faxing, laminating, comb binding, scanning, emailing, and brochure folding. We custom design business cards, brochures, banners, and other promotional products.
A UPS Store Associate must be able to:
- Display a professional appearance and demeanor
- Lift up to 50 pounds by themselves (50 to 150 lbs. assisted)
- Learn and follow all UPS and USPS shipping regulations
- Learn how to operate all office machines
- Be able to type accurately and proficiently
- Learn quickly from on-the-job training and online training
- Work well with others to complete tasks
- Stand and work for the majority of their shift
- Remain focused on the job
Preference is given to candidates who:
- Have experience designing with Microsoft Publisher or Adobe Suites
- Have experience building wooden shipping crates or packing boxes
- Have knowledge with UPS and USPS shipping services & regulations
- Have an exemplary customer service record and job history
The UPS Store is open 8-6 Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:30 on Saturday
and 10-3 on Sundays.
Sales Associate should have availability for most of this time.
