Position Title: Advocate Supervisor
Reports to: Executive Director
Location: Rolla, MO
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
Position Summary:
The Advocate Supervisor provides support to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), ensuring
that children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and early permanency
planning. The Advocate Supervisor is responsible for advocate supervision and coordination of cases.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
Advocate Supervision
 Supervising, mentoring, and coaching 25-35 Court Appointed Special Advocates.
 New case intake, including New case paperwork (intake form, acceptance of appointment form, contact list)
and recent case files.
 Help develop initial case plans and ongoing strategies for advocacy.
 Prepare and distribute assignment documentation.
 Provide mentoring assistance to new advocates.
 Communicate at least monthly with each advocate about case progress.
 Receive, review, and distribute advocate court reports.
 Provide assistance and consultation for advocates as needed and when requested.
 Consult with court personnel and related agencies regarding cases and advocate needs and assignments.
 Conduct annual advocate performance reviews as assigned by the Executive Director.
Program Activities
 Assist in planning and implementing advocate appreciation events with staff, Board, and Executive Director.
 Abide by the rules, regulations, and adopted policies of the CASA of South Central Missouri program Board
of Directors.
 Assist in the creation and implementation of training opportunities for advocates.
 Work with community members to engage others in the CASA mission, including recruitment and
fundraising.
 Participate in professional development opportunities as requested by the Executive Director.
 Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including early morning, evenings, and weekends during peak
times is necessary and expected.
Administration:
 Attend and participate in all program and staff meetings as requested by the Executive Director.
 Maintain case files under supervision.
 Maintain case statistics and submit monthly reports to the Program Director.
 Maintain advocate statistics and submit monthly reports to the Program Director.
 Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s Degree in social service-related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
 Ability to communicate with, supervise, and empower advocates effectively in their roles.
 Knowledge and understanding of issues and dynamics within families in crisis relating to child abuse and
neglect.
 Computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, Google Suite, and email.
 Strong project management and organizational skills are necessary.
