MO SCI, LLC is a specialty glass company that was purchased by Heraeus, the technology group in Hanau, Germany that is a family-owned portfolio company.
Job Purpose
The Facility Maintenance Coordinator basic function is to provide electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC assistance to the various entities of MO SCI, LLC. Maintain MO SCI facilities and grounds. Help other areas as needed. The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will also be responsible for managing other employees on the facilities team.
The position reports to MO SCI Chief Operations Officer.

Job Requirements/Duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinate stocking and maintaining the tool crib
- Maintain the preventive maintenance of equipment in the different programs
- Maintain the facility and grounds
- Security wiring and maintaining network wiring
- Fabricate or coordinate the fabrication of high-quality equipment
Minimum Required Education and Experience
Required: A High School Diploma or G.E.D. Willing to pursue additional training to upgrade their education and/or sharpen skill deficiencies. One to two years of electrical wiring, electronics troubleshooting (AC/DC), welding and fabrication.
Preferred: Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) and/or Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certifications

Working Conditions
*Work will be done in a production environment
*Work for several hours in a wet, dry, hot and cold environment inside and outside of the facility
*Wear specialized protective or safety equipment
*Exposed to heat generated from tubes, kilns and other equipment
*Temperature may exceed 100 degrees F
*Protective gear will be provided to minimize any risk factors. The nature of the work will expose the incumbent to a variety of potentially hazardous or lethal electrical situations. Tag-Out/Lockout procedures must be followed when working on electrical systems.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee will frequently be required to sit; climb; stand; walk; lift; turning head and torso bending arms; wrists and fingers. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Must have command of the five senses: sight, hearing, touches, smell and taste.
