Rolla Municipal Utilities, Rolla’s municipally owned electric and water utility, is seeking a career-oriented manager to lead its customer service and billing operations. Operating under a Board of Public Works model, RMU has an annual budget of $30 million and is approaching 10,000 and 8,000 electric and water customers, respectively. The Business Manager reports to the RMU General Manager, supervises a staff of eight, with primary responsibilities overseeing customer service, billing operations, some administrative services, and facility maintenance. This position may also have human resources and IT responsibilities. This is a key member of the RMU management team providing highly responsible and complex support to the General Manager and Rolla Board of Public Works. Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, public administration, closely related field, or in the alternative an equivalent amount of practical experience. The applicant should possess a minimum five years of increasingly responsible management experience specializing in customer service. Central Square CIS experience preferred.
