Construction Estimator
Description
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other contract documents to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope, conditions, and potential risks
- Utilize construction estimating software and tools to perform takeoffs and generate detailed cost breakdowns
- Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients in a timely manner
- Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process
- Assist in negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Provide support in project management activities as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Proficient in using construction estimating software
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members. clients and stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
