Christ Episcopal Church in Rolla is seeking a part-time parish administrator to manage our office and assist the parish clergy and leadership for four hours a day, four days a week. Duties include assisting callers and visitors, monitoring the parish email account, distributing mail, purchasing supplies, and managing a range of office procedures. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a strong grasp of standard business English. In addition, candidates must be comfortable using standard business software and equipment, including Microsoft Office suite, Google, and business copiers. Finally, candidates must exercise discretion and respect confidentiality. A high school degree is required; experience in an office environment and familiarity with church services and operations are helpful, but we are willing to train individuals with the necessary skill and disposition.
