CITY OF ROLLA FINANCE DEPARTMENT - ASSISTANT FINANCE DIRECTOR

GRADE CLASSIFICATION:         G8
 
SALARY RANGE:  $ 30.13 to $ 41.70
 
EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:

DESCRIPTION OF BASIC DUTIES:
 
Perform a variety of technical accounting and financial services work for the City of Rolla and related partners.  Work responsibilities may include payroll, insurance, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash collections, business license and financial reporting. 
 
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
 
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited four (4) year college or university.  Degree must be in accounting, finance, business, public administration or a closely related field.  Three (3) years of experience in finance and/or accounting or any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  Knowledge and familiarity with governmental accounting preferred.
