The Collective’s Lunch & Learn Series brings together accomplished guest speakers and timely topics tailored specifically for local young professionals. Each session includes a quality lunch, provided as part of your Collective membership and focused, practical insights designed to deliver real value you can apply immediately.
These mid-day gatherings offer a convenient alternative to after-hours events, allowing members to connect, learn, and engage during the workday without added stress. Attendees will hear from respected community business leaders, fellow young professionals, and other inspiring voices across five thoughtfully curated educational luncheons.

About the speaker:
Verna has a BS in Business Administration from Columbia College. Verna has earned many designations over the years, such as, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Investment Management Consultant granted through Raymond James Institute of Investment Management Consulting, Wealth Management Specialist, Retirement Income Certified Professional as well as Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor. Verna believes education shows us the importance of hard work and at the same time helps her to grow and develop to better serve her clients.
Verna received the “Woman of Distinction” award presented by Raymond James for her dedication to service and mentorship to other women to help them advance in the securities industry. Verna and her husband, Gary, have lived in St. James for over 30 years. Verna enjoys spending time outside camping, taking UTV rides, and most of all, being with her family.
